Villa Maria College, a coeducational institution in suburban Buffalo, is committed to preparing you for a successful future. All degree programs incorporate a liberal arts foundation, an essential ingredient for career mobility. Some programs lead directly into a career after two or four years, while others prepare you for further education in your chosen field.Villa is ever expanding its four year program offerings for seamless transfer from the associate level programs into the baccalaureate offerings.Villa's Associate degree programs include: fine arts, business administration, graphic design, interior design assistant, liberal arts-general studies, photography, physical therapist assistant, occupational therapy assistant. Villa's Bachelor's degree programs include: animation, business administration, creative writing and literature, digital filemaking, fashion design, graphic design, integrated arts, interior design, music, music industry, photography and psychology.The teacher-student relationship at Villa is one of its greatest strengths. Small class size means in-depth, person-to-person communication. Most programs include one or more internship opportunities enabling you to explore careers, develop work-related skills and gain valuable experience in the day to day work environment under the supervision of experts.

An on-campus athletic facility is available at designated times for coed gym/swim activities.

College admitted to USCAA (United States Collegiate Athletic Association) for the 2015-2016 academic year.

Villa Maria College’s annual literary and arts magazine Skald was awarded the 2015 National Program Directors’ Prize in the Design category from the Association of Writers & Writing Programs (AWP). 

Skald also received a 2014 Silver Crown in the College Magazine category by The Columbia Scholastic Press Association, and a Gold ADDY award from the Ad Club of Buffalo, the Western New York affiliate of the American Advertising Federation.

Featured Programs

The Student Success Center supports students at every stage of their college careers. This is the place for students to work one-on-one with a tutor, do homework, study alone or with friends, and participate in academically oriented workshops. Professional math and writing coaches, and both professional and peer tutors are available for assisting with most courses offered at the College. Mentoring sessions may also be arranged to assist students and enable successful navigation of the educational environment of college. Guidance is provided in study strategies, test-taking, time management, and other needs of students. All first-year students are advised in the Student Success Center. Assistance is provided through appointments or drop-in visits, and there is no fee for services. Newly introduced Achieve Program delivers specialized services to students with learning differences beyond basic requirements.
