Colgate University

Campus Description
Colgate's campus is set on a hillside overlooking the village of Hamilton in rural central New York. Many of the older buildings on campus are in a federal style. In details and materials many of the newest buildings pick up elements of those historic structures. A stream (Payne Creek) that runs through campus feeds a small lake. The campus is often cited as one of the most beautiful in the country.
