– LIU Promise: LIU Promise is LIU’s commitment to ensuring that each student has the right tools, guidance, and support to achieve his or her goals. When a student applies to LIU Post, he or she will be assigned an LIU Promise Success Coach who will work with that student through graduation. An LIU Promise Success coach is a student’s main contact for everything he or she needs, from academic and career counseling to campus activities to financial aid. The LIU Promise Success Coach will work with each student one-on-one to: • Fast-track the enrollment process • Help select the right major • Find the right scholarship opportunities • Construct a financial plan • Introduce him/her to LIU Post’s vibrant campus life • Identify appropriate internships and study-abroad opportunities • Create an e-portfolio to showcase his or her work to employers • Connect with employers before graduation and launch his or her career – Honors College: The LIU Post Honors College’s challenging curriculum combines stimulating core courses and sophisticated electives with engaged learning opportunities on campus and around the world, offering transformational academic experiences for exceptional students. – Tilles Center for the Performing Arts: Tilles Center for the Performing Arts at LIU Post is Long Island’s premier performing arts venue, hosting more than 100 performances by world-renowned artists each season. LIU Post’s Financial Markets lab provides students with access to the same programs used by most of the world’s largest financial and investment firms. – Equestrian Stables: North Shore Equestrian Center houses the LIU Post Equine Studies program, offering a large indoor arena, two spacious outdoor rings, a viewing area, and a cafe.
